Friday Free-for-All: "Adored"...

(btw...I am not sure that I am entirely happy with the theme for my Friday posts...I'm thinking that I need to find a more concrete, specific topic for this day...so I have until NEXT Friday to work on changing that!)

Today, I have been spending time out in my garage "art studio", working on lots of different things:
drawing my girly face for Day 3 of my self-imposed "PROJECT *DOLL*FACE* (which you can check out on my artsy FB page at  Laurie's Little Lovelies), happily playing with slinging paint,collaging like there's no tomorrow and being a glitter sprinkling fairy, and honestly, I had not yet been "struck" with something "special" to share in my post today.

I always have a few little rituals that I complete before settling in for a session of creating, including lighting several sticks of incense around my work area, pulling an Oracle card to help guide me (todays was "Clear Your Space"...very appropriate!), choosing a stack of CD's to listen to and sometimes having a mug of latte or tea close at hand (as well as an ever-present Hershey bar in case of a lagging creative energy emergency!).
So I had been in the "zone" for about an hour and a half when I heard the start of a song that never fails to tear me up...in a good but very deeply emotional way.
