Kickin' It Day 9-Favorite Movies

Today for the Kickin' It Old Skool Blog-A-Thon. we're sharing some of our favorite movies.

Ugh...this one is tough for me. Not because I don't LOVE watching movies, and watch A LOT of them, OFTEN...(as evidenced by our collection of over 100 movies PLUS the over 100 movies out in a box in the garage which hubby & I have picked up at various thrift shops to watch someday...and yes, most are VHS...AND we just bought a "new" VCR for 4 bucks at the thrift store last week because *GASP* our old one died!)...but rather because I am one of those for whom a movie, once watched, pretty much goes into that big dump/delete file in my brain, without much further thought...I mean, I might really really like and enjoy a movie as and after I've watched it, but it has to be REEEEEAAALLLLY incredibly good for it to make such an impression on me that I actually remember how much I loved it and put it onto a "favorites list"! Of course, hubby is one of those who can have an entire lengthy conversation speaking completely in movie lines...it can be SO annoying (and also pretty jaw droppingly amazing to someone like me!) when he says something random & it takes me a few moments to realize that he is quoting a movie! It is like he is speaking a foreign language to me, lol! When I yell "stop speaking movie to me"! he'll look at me all confused and say "but you saw_______, didn't you?" To which I usually reply "Yeah, ONE TIME THIRTY TWO YEARS AGO!" , hahaha! I'm much less subtle when uttering one of the two or three movie lines I have actually managed to retain long enough to repeat, always adding an excited "Did you HEAR that? Did you GET it? That was a quote from______!!!" (usually "Elf", lol!) I also rarely watch a movie, even if I loved it, more than once...maaaybe twice. And often, when I DO watch them again, it is like I haven't ever seen it!The ones on my list I have seen *many times (at least three or more, which is *many for me, lol!) I mean, don;t get me wrong, there are lots and lots and LOTS of movies that I love but to make a list of THE movies...??! Ugh...too much pressure to get it "right", lol! So anyway, there is some background info about this probably really random list of my fave movies I am about to share...I might even have to go look through our movie collection to get sparked! So here goes...
