Gallery 43-Hearts

This week for gallery 43 at 52 Photos Project, we are sharing our images of HEARTS! For me, random heart sightings, found when I am out and about and least expecting it, are one of those spirit signs which whenever I come upon, makes me feel joyous, comforted and hopeful. Unexpected hearts are one of my very favorite things to capture in an image. A few years ago, I had a solo exhibit at the local library art gallery consisting of photographs of hearts I had found over the past few years. This image is one of my very favorites-we have a framed enlargement of it hanging in our kitchen, and I even had someone purchase the image during my exhibit. I came upon it one sunny afternoon when my hubby and I were exploring an interesting and eclectic garden shop, and the discovery of not only the heart shape and shadow, but the colors and textures of the rusty iron, and the peeling wall,  fascinated and delighted me.
