Friday Free-For-All!

Good morning all!
I started this day in a quite cool way, with a livestream viewing of the lovely Lori-Lyn Hurley doing her monthly oracle card pulls/readings.
My card was COMMITMENT

which of course I just made a huge one last month (marrying my soul mate!) but as Lori-Lyn explained (and I believe), the true message behind this card was for me to move into a more committed place concerning things I am yearning for.
Well, THAT encompasses quite a large realm, now doesn't it?!

"UNLESS COMMITMENTS ARE MADE,
THERE ARE ONLY PROMISES AND HOPES
BUT NO PLANS"
Peter F. Drucker

And since this is my first FRIDAY FREE-FOR-ALL blogpost, I think I will use it as an opportunity to take a small step towards commitment by sharing a few projects with you that have been brewing in my head for awhile now!
THE GREAT "BACKYARD" MAKEOVER DREAM PLAN!
(aka: I've always really, Really, REALLY wanted a hot tub, treehouse & labyrinth!)

the back area of our house, where we plan to install a hot tub under the deck
(and yes, the compost pile will be relocated!)

this will be the view from the hot tub!

my treehouse tree, which is about 500 yards into the woods from the house

the now blackberry infested area just to the left of the hot tub
where the beach stone labyrinth will be

AND OH MY GOSH I JUST HAD AN "AHA" MOMENT!
At the end of my card reading, Lori-Lyn mentioned that she saw me surrounded by flowers,
blossoming & blooming & opening up!

(I guess that means we better get moving on this project, as the spring rain & occasional sunshine are already coaxing some blooms & blossoms in our yard!)

Thank you for letting me share this dream plan with you! (and thank you to Lori-Lyn for giving me the reminder message that my dreams can only come true with commitment!)

Have a dream filled day everyone!

Happy Me-Laurie Z!
